Drive NKT’s Service and Installation business expansion in North America

As Sales and Business Development Manager your goal is to execute a successful market entry of NKT’s Service and Installation business in the North American market and to grow our presence into a mature and sustainable business. You will have the backing of a global cable manufacturer and will have clear opportunities to grow within the Service and Installation organization and beyond. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and executing a capture plan in line with the NAM market entry strategy
  • Building and managing a customer network
  • Building and managing a sales representatives network
  • Meeting sales targets through identification of new sales opportunities and management of existing business
  • Executing tenders of small and medium size opportunities and playing a key role in large tender works, in collaboration with global Service & Installation tender team
  • Defining the future service and product portfolio for the North American market
  • Advising on the development of our organization and capabilities

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and dedicated Sales and Business Development Manager

To succeed in this role you:

  • are result driven and have a pro-active and entrepreneurial approach
  • can rely on your experience in working at MV/HV/EHV cable service providers, electrical contractors, cable manufacturers and cable accessories suppliers
  • have a strong sales mindset and are social, relatable and customer focused
  • can work independently and manage various stakeholders and projects or initiatives simultaneously
  • have an existing network of customers and sales representatives to tap into
  • have a capacity to embrace new and challenging tasks and are willing to adjust to fast-paced and changing working environments and/or market circumstances
  •  have a sense of responsibility with robust quality and safety approach
