As a procurement lead you will strengthen our local team in Karlskrona supporting our global projects for installation of High Voltage cable system both Onshore and Offshore. Play a key role in securing safe and cost-effective subcontracts to enabling the green energy transition driven by Wind-power and interconnectivity between countries.
In this role you will form part of our Project team making shore that all project specific material and installation are secured on time and within the given budget. You will be procurement´s representative in the project team for all matters related to installation from start to end of the project. Together with the Project Installation Manager (PIM) and the Category Manager (CM) you will create contracts that reflects both best industry practice as well as the requirements from our customer. The PIM will be responsible for technical requirements, the CM for product and market expertise and you will be the project expert.
One success factor in this role is to develop long-term relations with our key suppliers - leading to innovative contract models, ensuring reliable delivery’s, lessons learned, and continuous improvement are additional responsibilities in this role.
Your primary tasks will be:
You will be a part of our local procurement-installation team based in Karlskrona, in the southern part of Sweden, but also work closely with our group procurement colleges in Copenhagen, Denmark and our sister factory in Cologne, Germany. With our market being global, international travel will be part of your job. Today our subcontractor footprint is mostly Europe, but as our client market gets wider so does our supplier base.

We are looking for an initiative taking, goal oriented person who can contribute to NKT´s global installation projects going forward. You work independent, driving tasks in accordance with the agreed plan in a structured and predictable way delivering on your commitments. In order to succeed in the role, you have the ability to build strong networks, collaborate and communicate with all kinds of people both internally and externally.
In addition to this you have a broad commercial understanding and ability to see the big picture as well as a clear focus and awareness on securing that the client´s requirements are aligned in the project execution.
