Help secure safe and cost-effective subcontracts to enable the green energy transition.
In this role you will join a project team that ensures all project specific materials and installations are secured on time and within agreed upon budgets. You will be the procurement's representative to the project team for all matters related to installation, from start to finish. Together with the Project Installation Manager (PIM) and the Category Manager (CM) you will create contracts that reflect industry practices and meet customer requirements. The PIM is responsible for technical requirements, the CM for product and market expertise, and you will be the project expert.
A key success factor in this role is the ability to develop long-term relations with our key suppliers. Leading the use and implementation of innovative contract models, ensuring reliable deliveries, sharing lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement are important success factors as well.
Your primary tasks will be:
You will be a part of our local procurement-installation team based in Karlskrona, in the southern part of Sweden, but also work closely with our group procurement colleges in Copenhagen, Denmark and our sister factory in Cologne, Germany. With our market being global, international travel will be part of your job. Today our subcontractor footprint is mostly Europe, but as our client market gets wider so does our supplier base.

We are looking for an initiative taking, goal oriented person who can contribute to NKT´s global installation projects going forward. You work independent, driving tasks in accordance with the agreed plan in a structured and predictable way delivering on your commitments. In order to succeed in the role, you have the ability to build strong networks, collaborate and communicate with all kinds of people both internally and externally.
In addition to this you have a broad commercial understanding and ability to see the big picture as well as a clear focus and awareness on securing that the client´s requirements are aligned in the project execution.
