Document Controller (m/f/d)

    As Document Controller (m/f/d) within a team of specialists you will support complex projects for high-voltage cable systems (DC). The position is to be filled in Cologne.

    You will be responsible for the following:

    • Accountability for the overall documentation process within assigned projects / tenders.
    • Analyse contract/tender documents for project documentation requirements and ensure implementation in the project/tender execution process
    • Setting up and establishing the document management system at the beginning of a project/ tender, including the creation of mailboxes, filing systems, project specific procedures/ registers/ plans for controlling all project documentation and correspondence
    • Create documentation schedules and document registers to continuously monitor the entire documentation creation and release process (creation, review, release, dissemination)
    • Responsibility for all internal and external filing and archiving of all documents and maintenance of meta-data as well as compilation and delivery of final project documentation
    • Formal review of documents including layout, format, proofreading, graphics, etc.

    We are looking for a Document Controller (m/f/d) with a goal-oriented, independent and structured way of working who is highly customer-oriented. In addition, you should have the following knowledge:

    • Degree in commercial, linguistic or technical field or comparable professional education
    • Completed technical studies are an advantage
    • Sound knowledge of technical documentation in large-scale projects
    • Experience in technical documentation and project experience in the field of high-voltage cable projects
    • Distinct communication skills
    • Team spirit, reliability, discretion and loyalty
    • Flexibility and willingness to travel at home and abroad
    • IT knowledge of all relevant Microsoft Office applications at a high level, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Macro-S, VBA and experience with M-Files or other Document Management Systems would be an advantage.
    • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, further language skills are of advantage
