We are looking for new talents to join our trainee program and accompany us on our journey to a greener world. Are you in?
What to expect
The NKT Trainee Program starts at the beginning of September 2023 and lasts 12 months. Your home base will be in Cologne (Chempark). This site has a state-of-the-art production facility for manufacturing high-voltage cables, a leading research and development department and a large AC and DC electrical testing laboratory.
Your ambitions determine which departments you get to know during the trainee program. Are you interested in research? Our R&D department is looking forward to your support. You want to understand production from the ground up? We'll provide you with work clothes and get to work on the machine! Other possible areas could be: testing, (process) engineering, production planning, product management, sales, etc. During the programme you will take part in a high-profile project together with other trainees, sponsored by one of our Senior Business Leaders (m/f/d).
The program includes a total of four job rotation blocks, one of which is international. During the different rotations, you will take responsibility for clearly defined tasks and help us solve problems. Together with your manager, you will decide which stay abroad best rounds off your trainee year and offers you the best conditions for a further career at NKT.
