Professional in Project Execution Logistics (m/f/d)

As Professional in Project Execution Logistics (m/f/d) you will be a vital member in supporting the execution of high voltage cable systems projects in Offshore & HVDC businesses. Reporting to the Director Project Management Office On-/ Offshore (m/f/d) you will support all relevant logistic activities for dedicated projects while maintaining primary interface with subcontractors, clients and the local project & tendering manager(s) (m/f/d). The position is to be filled in Cologne.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Active collaboration with project & tender team(s) to support, plan and manage logistics activities and processes for tenders and HV cables projects.

• Analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents with regard to logistics requirements

• Controlling logistics processes during project execution and ensuring compliance with all relevant processes and specifications.

• Supporting the tender and project teams in the preparation of project plans and concepts for the logistics/permits area.

• Contribute to the planning, costing and follow-up of logistics processes, concepts and strategies during the tender and execution phase.

• Preparation of tender documents and bid comparisons both technically and commercially in the context of contract awards.         

• Supervision and monitoring of project execution and subcontractors (in relation to transport permits, deliveries, loading and other logistics processes in cooperation with clients and suppliers as well as monitoring and controlling delivery dates, transports, and invoices.

• Arrange deliveries and supporting documentation, booking and controlling of stock, keeping of stock lists as well as carrying out inventories and stocktaking.

You have at least a completed technical or commercial training in the field of industry or ideally a bachelor's degree in business administration, mechanical engineering or project management. In addition, you have initial professional experience in project management or logistics. Other important qualifications are:

• SAP knowledge especially SD / PS and MM

• IT affinity

• Commercial mindset in a technical environment

• Strong commitment to safe working practices and following processes and relevant safety guidelines in the workplace

• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies

• Fluent in German and English
