    We are looking for a Product Development Engineer, Utilities – responsible for our product roadmap for selected markets in Denmark and UK as well as cross-functional product project execution. You will own this offer, meaning you will also be the one giving technical support to our Tender team, and by that gaining insight into what our customers are looking for – a real win-win situation!     The position is located in Asnæs, Denmark, and some travel days per year should be expected according to business needs.

    Driving product development and technical support in our Applications Business Line
    Working in the intersection between business, technology, and customers, you will collaborate closely with customers and your colleagues within Sales, Customer Service, Market Intelligence and Development, Operations, and Supply chain. You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of 1 kV, medium voltage cables, and universal cable system towards the Utility segment. To do so, you will drive cross-functional project execution as well as be technical support for the tender team and 2nd line support in customer quality issues.

    Some of your working tasks

    •    Develop and maintain the technical roadmap
    •    Project lead on product development execution
    •    Technical tender support, including technical values for cables, calculations, and dimensioning for customers
    •    Contribute to the innovation pipeline of our business line
    •    Technical support, both internally to the Product Development and Product Marketing team, and externally about customer quality complaints
    •    Participate in Standards and Associations and support Marketing initiatives

    You are passionate about LV/MV cables and want to develop the sustainable future
    We are looking for technical talent with strong project management skills. To succeed in the role you need to be able to communicate your technical knowledge in a way that both customers and colleagues understand, as well as have a proven record of successfully completing development projects.

    We believe that you have:

    •    Bachelor or Master in electrical engineering LV/MV
    •    Min. 5 years of experience in Product Management or as a Project Manager (preferably in B2B and commoditized products/services)
    •    Cable knowledge
    •    High level of result orientation and achievement drive
    •    A focused and self-driven way of work
    •    Social skills, empathy, and a team player mindset 
    •    Ability to speak and understand Nordic language(s) and are fluent in English
