    Strategic planning, M&A, and business development

    As Group Strategy and M&A Manager or Senior Consultant, you are responsible for managing workstreams of strategy development and M&A projects with frequent updates to senior management and the Board of Directors:

    • Strategy management - stewarding the strategic planning process, supporting business lines in strategic and business development discussions with analysis, structure, and sparring for strategic roadmaps and business development initiatives such as go-to-market actions and you work closely with Sales and Business Development teams in the business lines to drive business development opportunities, such as partnerships, geographical and/or product portfolio expansion.
    • Market Intelligence – managing the team's Market Intelligence Specialist, coordinating and performing industry research and strategic analyses in markets/businesses of interest, monitoring and benchmarking competitors/peers.
    • M&A management - identify and track potential acquisition targets, and manage M&A projects from identification through relationship building, target engagement, due diligence, deal completion, and implementation handover. You will be engaging targets, coordinating internal resources, co-managing external advisors, managing project budgets, and the approval process.

    What makes you a great Group Strategy and M&A Manager or Senior Consultant

    You come with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Studies in the field of economics, business administration, and/or engineering. In addition, you bring experience from investment banking, strategic consulting, or an equivalent role in the industry. For the role of Manager, we expect you to have 3-5 years of experience, and for the role of Senior Consultant, we expect you to have 2-3 years of experience. Experience within manufacturing, turnkey, or infrastructure environment with industry-, energy- or capital goods is preferred.

    The ideal candidate for the role has:

    • Project experience, consulting skills, and methodological expertise.
    • A solid analytical and structured approach combined with dedication and personal drive enabling her/him to create results and deliver high quality within agreed deadlines, also in busy periods.
    • A performance-driven and results-oriented approach with a sharp eye for detail. 
    • An affinity for technology, and the manufacturing industry. 
    • Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written. Other languages are valued as we are active globally. 
    • Experience in an international setting. 

    The position can be located in one of the following locations: Kladno, the Czech Republic, Broendby, Denmark, Cologne, Germany, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Warszowice, Poland, or Malmoe, Sweden, and you may expect to travel up to 30% of your time, primarily in Europe.
