Financial Analyst

NKT, a leading cable producer with Headquarters in Denmark, is seeking a Financial Analyst who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing global team.

What can you expect from the position?

You will be based in a modern office in Kaunas while working closely with colleagues globally. This role will be key in driving Finance agenda within assigned areas, developing and driving cost conscious culture within area of responsibility, at the same time providing support to the stakeholders with aim to increase financial performance. Other responsibilities will be:

• Ensure Management reporting (including monthly reviews) & Budgeting / Forecasting on time in high quality;
• Data gathering and other support during Budget/Forecast processes;
• Be key finance contact for CAPEX related matters;
• Facilitate decision making by providing analysis of the business to the management and other business partners, act as main contact point to the stakeholders on finance related matters;
• Participate in process changes, improvements, and efficiency activities, support digital finance initiatives;
• Support stakeholders in driving business agenda by providing finance related insights;
• Execute other role related activities and assignments.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The candidate should have Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar and at least 3 years of relative experience. Advanced level of MS Excel, MS Power Point and other MS Office skills is a must, while knowledge of SAP (similar ERP system) and Business Intelligence tools would be an advantage. On top of this, we expect you to have:

• Preferably background within finance controlling, business controlling, FP&A or similar;
• Ability to perform with limited support and guidance;
• Experience working independently, can effectively understand requirements;
• Analytical mindset, having keen desire to learn, passionate about process improvement;
• Strong communication skills, ability to handle wide range and different level of stakeholders, supporting them with financial insights, yet being able to challenge when needed and follow up;
• Strong English language skills, professional in verbal and written.
