Junior Site Manager (m/f/d)

HV Solutions Corridor Projects - NKT contributes to the energy transition in Germany in several lots and contracts of the SuedLink and SuedOstLink projects awarded by 50Hertz, TenneT and TransnetBW. Your place of work during the project will mainly be on the construction sites. The position is to be filled in Cologne and the project teams will be in Berlin and Würzburg.

As Site Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and qualitative execution of turnkey projects in the HV AC and DC area. You will be reporting to the Project Installation Manager of the respective construction section (m/f/d) and the Director of Installation and Site Management (m/f/d).

From the very beginning you take responsibility for the site organisation

In your new position, your main task is site organisation, mobilisation and resource planning of construction sites according to requirements. In addition, your main tasks will include taking over construction sites from the customer and supervising the execution on site. In addition, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Call off jointing personnel and subcontractors in accordance with the schedule

• Receipt of material and timely provision

• Control of the work in terms of quality and progress

• Identification and correction of potential bottlenecks

• Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met

• Participation in project and construction meetings as well as participation on-site inspections

• Daily documentation of the work carried out and preparation of reports

• Coordination of tests, acceptances and handovers on site in consultation with project management

You have a successfully completed technical college education in the field of electrical engineering, civil work engineering or mechanical engineering or similar. As a person, you are straightforward, robust and a practitioner by nature. To achieve the goals of the projects on time, you work in a structured, goal-oriented, sustainable manner and have a good overview of the project. Further important qualifications are:

• Ideally first experience in line construction sites

• Reliability, team spirit, empathy and strategic thinking

• Goal-oriented, independent and structured way of working

• Resistance to stress

• Willingness to travel

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills

• Experience with common software such as MS-Office
