As part of the department Project Execution, you will be working in a global and dynamic environment handling large delivery projects. 

Work with NKT’s global customer projects

In this role you will be a part of the project team allocated to the project, defining strategies, handling and delegating project activities, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all activities and milestones to achieve the project objectives. You are responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned projects on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement with high focus on our quality and safety framework.

During the first years you will work as a Deputy Project Manager, which means the you have a mentor that are the main responsibility and you get a chance to develop and to be able to reach the next step in our career ladder; Project Manager. As a Deputy Project Manager you ensures that the project follows given processes, best practices and NKT policies. Together with the Project Manager you will monitor and control the project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. I

Your primary tasks will be together with the Project Manager:

• Handling large delivery projects, be responsible for all defined parts of the project until formally closed out as contractually agreed
• Identify, qualify, quantify and managing project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Define, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans
• Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and NKT policies
• Captures, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project
• Understand and manage contracts, claims and procurement activities
• Understand and manage stakeholder relations
• Ensure that the project follows and complies with company health, safety and environmental policies

Communicative, with a solution oriented mindset and high sense of responsibility

Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders as well as building and maintaining strong relationships.

Together with Project Manager you motivate, inspire and lead project members to accomplish tasks and milestones, by providing support through both practical advice as well as action.

You see the value of strong team development and your tools and goals in the process are often the same; honesty, integrity and tolerance. You manage your time effectively to complete projects; adheres to a structured and clear plan and delivers according to agreed plan. You view problems as challenges and take your experiences with you whenever you face a new one. You thrive in a role where you need to take high responsibility and effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to achieve the project goals.

Additionally, your CV includes: 

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Swedish and other European languages is an advantages.
• B.Sc or M.sc within industrial economics or similar.                                                                    
• Working with Projects are merited
• PM training and/or courses, for example IPMA, are merited.
