    Our UK based team continues to grow and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role you will have responsibility to develop new and existing client relationships. You will support sales, tendering and execution phases of projects, maintaining a holistic view of the various client interfaces. To be successful in this role you will understand and effectively communicate client requirements whilst influencing potential solutions.


    Your primary tasks will be:

    • Regular face-to-face and online dialogue with key clients
    • Ongoing dialogue with internal stakeholders regarding client requirements
    • Maintaining accurate records within NKT's CRM tool
    • Identifying, evaluating and influencing potential solutions through early client engagement

    You will be part of an international and dynamic team placed over different locations. This role is UK based, at our Teesside office.  Flexible working is permissible and in line with company policy.  
    Some frequent local and occasional international travel, mainly throughout Europe, will be required.

    To successfully take on this position, you need to be a person who has the ability to build strong working relations, with excellent problem-solving & communication skills, possess exceptional time and project management skills, and be able to prioritise and meet client deadlines, you must be highly goal orientated, assertive and a hands-on problem solver. 

    Your Experience Profile should also include:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, sales, engineering or related field, or relevant demonstratable experience
    Minimum 3 to 5 years working in Sales and or within a Key Account Manager role
    Ideally, direct (or closely related) industry knowledge / experience
    Fluency in spoken and written English. Other languages advantageous but not a requirement 
    Proficiency in all MS applications
    Proficient in use of CRM Software
