NKT is growing and to support the business growth with efficient Digital Solutions - We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Service Manager for IT Software and Applications to secure development and support of high-prioritized IT Services globally.

Strengthen our Group IT Organization

At NKT we combine our own developed applications with bought vendor applications to secure the business needs and demands. Digitalization of Business processes is a major part of the daily work and understand business needs in their digital journey is a success factor. Our business users work in various areas such as Project Execution, Tender, Production lines and Installation department. NKT is a global organization with colleagues and business users in Europe, US and India.

Some of your tasks will be to:

• Secure IT Service (Application/Service) in scope are developed and maintained according to business line and support function requirements within limitations of the annual budgets for the Service/Application
• Delivering Services within the agreed service levels and work proactively with the business stakeholders in further develop applications through change management
• Responsible for the development, planning and operational management of the IT services in scope
• Accountable for 2nd level support for IT services in scope
• Drive Steering Group meetings
• Manage IT projects within Digital solutions area as well as other projects initiated by the global IT organization
• Maintain an active and open communication with managers, management departments and users to ensure the delivery of agreed needs

You will report to the Senior Manager within Digital Solutions Karlskrona, supporting a growing company and being a part of the Global IT team, based in Karlskrona. This means that you will be employed at what will soon be the world's largest submarine cable factory, playing a key role in the creation of a better future by enabling the expansion of wind farms and optimizing energy supply between and within countries. We deliver complete solutions, cable systems and installation with our own vessel.

Analytical, energetic and self-driven

To succeed in the role, you need to have the ability to understand and break down business requirements. The role requires you to be service driven with broad understanding of IT infrastructure, security, software and cloud services. You are structured and driven with good communication skills, outwards towards business stakeholders as well as inwards towards the Infrastructure team. We are working in an agile mindset with continous improvements with tight DevOps team with close connections towards the end users. This position also puts high demands on your ability to be independent, to make well-grounded decisions and have the ability to plan and lead your work as well as colleagues and subcontractor tasks in accordance with current internal processes. We expect you to be comfortable in working with Agile methodologies to support new development as well as maintenance of existing services.

This position will also require you to work as Project Manager, responsible of IT Projects with budgeted cost and time limits.

Additionally, your CV includes:

• Relevant academic degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Professional experience from IT service delivery and system management in a multinational enterprise or IT service provider
• Experience in project management and operational personnel management
• Familiar with Agile methods, models and frameworks in software development
• Experienced in ITIL frameworks
• Experience in managing and being responsible for budget and financial follow-up
• Vendor management skills. Excellent service skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish.
