    Oversee and coordinate the entire lifecycle of procurement projects 
    You will oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of procurement projects across categories, business lines and sites. You will have a high degree of autonomy in your work. You will complete your projects to through a structured approach and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management. You will be a trusted advisor to the Procurement Leadership team, and the Category Leads working together with you on an assignment. 


    Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives based on data insights
    • Coordinating and tracking project timelines and deliverables
    • Project Communication towards relevant stakeholders, including senior management
    • On a project-by-project basis, you might be responsible for specific deliverables, e.g., running tenders, defining sourcing strategies, supplier and stakeholder engagement and negotiations. 


    A strategic thinker with effective communication and organizational skills
    To grow in this position, you need to be a networker and motivate and engage others in the organization. You engage the organization by empowering people to make decisions, and you communicate to influence, adapting to different audiences.

    • You bring a university degree in the field of economics, business administration or engineering
    • You have 3+ years of experience as a management consultant or procurement project manager 
    • You are proactive with a high sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
    • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have advanced time management skills
    • You have enhanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
    • You are data-driven and have experience using data to inform decision-makers

    The position can be based in either Kaunas - Lithuania, Warszowice - Poland or Kladno - Czech Republic. You will work in a hybrid setup with the possibility to work partly from home according to NKT's flexible working hour policy.
     

    The position might require 20-30 travel days (within Europe), depending on the project.

    Group Procurement was formed within NKT 4 years ago by merging several local business line procurement teams. Today it consists of ~65 people across our European sites. The team is on an ambitious transition journey to become an even more professional and strategic contributor. Hence, we have many ongoing activities to further improve our processes and competencies.
