NKT North America is searching for an experienced, U.S. based Project Manager, ideally with experience working within the energy industry. Your initial focus will be on our North America Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE) EPC Project. The CHPE project is a groundbreaking high profile project that will provide 1,250 MW of green, renewable hydroelectric power from the Canadian province of Quebec to approximately 1 million homes in New York City via installation of overland and underwater high-voltage cables (HVC) and is a giant step towards meeting the State of New York’s goal of 70% renewable energy by 2030. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to travel as needed and provide leadership to represent NKT to our client, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
Ensure great delivery
Within this new project, you will ensure that NKT provides value to our customer by supporting their efforts to use the cables in the most effective way, minimizing risks and failures, maximizing throughout and ensuring that NKT delivers great service and meets requirements according to all parties involved. As our project manager, you will lead the project in this innovative journey, helping to reduce the environmental impact and increasing the stability of the electrical infrastructure.

We are looking for a creative, positive and thorough person with a systematic and problem-solving mindset. Frequent travel will be required for this role. You will be a part of a business-oriented team, and will preferably be located in New York, New Jersey or North Carolina.
