Senior Accounting Specialist (AR Team)

What can you expect from the position?

You will work in an open, international and team-focused climate, where your personal career development and preparation for future attractive positions in the accounting/finance area will be supported by your direct manager and overall management team. Key tasks of this role is to handle and take ownership of queries from customers in a timely manner and ensure that all documentation and information required to process transactions is provided and accurately filed, in accordance with payment cycle and procedures. Also, Senior Accounting Specialist is expected to assist, train and coach Accounting specialists and Accounting associates, and help them perform according to standards. Handle and take ownership of queries from customers in a timely manner. Other tasks will be:

• Perform daily AR tasks;
• Ensure MEC task are fulfilled in quality and timely manner;
• Prepare weekly/monthly/yearly reports;
• Follow and perform control activities;
• Support colleagues and local stakeholders;
• Support and provide quality information and on time for audit request;
• SOP update and review.

What do we expect from the candidate:

The candidate should have Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, and 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position. On top of this, we expect you to have:

• Good command of Microsoft Office tools and MS Excel in particular; experience with SAP or similar ERP is an advantage;
• Good understanding of internal controls & risk management practices;
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers;
• Audit experience is considered an advantage;
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to details;
• Problem-finding, and problem-solving skills;
• Fluent written and oral English.
