Engineer - Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

Our test labs are the largest AC and DC electrical test labs in northern Europe. You will be the Engineer - SAT in testing technology. As the Engineer, you will assist in the smooth execution of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) by ensuring that the precondition requirements are captured and met.

Your primary tasks will be: 

• Review Tender Documents for customer requirements and conditions for SAT
• Ascertain against NKT capability and commit accordingly
• Forecast the conditions that would prevail during the period of SAT execution and evaluate for the suitability for execution or any adverse impact.
• Discuss with Expert team on the evaluation to commit / decline / take any precautions
• Make preparations for SAT execution ensuring all necessary conditions, precautions, risk factors are addressed.
• Analyse the root cause for the challenges faced in SAT execution. Identify & implement corrective actions for the same.
• Review SAT process and identify improvement opportunities

We are looking for a highly skilled expert who can, together with the rest of the team deliver execution with a specific engineering focus. Your innovative and creative personality exploits in this role and is indeed a growth factor. You thrive in a role with high level of collaboration – both internally and externally - and your comprehensive communication skills is characterized by adaptiveness and clarity.

Additionally, your CV comprises: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Masters would be an advantage
• Minimum 9+ years on industrial experience ,of which at least
• 3+ years performing field testing, cable testing would be an advantage
• 3+ years of working with international teams
• Understanding International standards
