NKT Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas is looking for a motivated, curious and goals oriented collegue to join our engaged and skilled Business Controlling team of 15+ professionals. What can you expect from the position?
You will be based in a modern open space office in Kaunas while working closely with colleagues in Karlskrona, Sweden. This role will be key in leading and driving Finance agenda within assigned areas, developing and driving cost conscious culture within area of responsibility, at the same time providing support to the stakeholders with aim to increase financial performance. This is certainly an environment in which you can put your experience to work and develop your skills. Job responsibilities:

  • Ownership of end-to-end financial processes within assigned areas of cost controlling, consolidation, preparation and development of planning templates within FP&A area;
  • Be proactive in planning, support and communication of the planning processes for the Sales, General and Administration costs;
  • Ensure Management reporting (including monthly reviews) & Budgeting / Forecasting on time in high quality;
  • Reporting on key metrics, costs, investments to ensure that the business stays in control with expectations;
  • Support decision making by providing analysis of the business to the management and other business partners, act as main contact point to the stakeholders on finance related matters;
  • Define and drive financial performance management agenda, increase standardization of finance procedures;
  • Participate in process changes, improvements, and efficiency activities;
  • Execute other role related activities and assignments.

What do we expect from the candidate?

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar;
  • 4+ years of relative experience as a Financial or Business Controller, a Shared Services organization or a major company is preferred;
  • Advanced level of MS Excel, MS Power Point and other MS Office skills is a must;
  • Knowledge of SAP (similar ERP system) is an advantage;
  • Process driven mindset and not afraid to work on improving further current structures and processes;
  • Ability to perform with limited support and guidance;
  • Business mindset – able to understand the drivers within the business, daring to question assumptions, skilled in identifying cost saving / profitability improvement opportunities;
  • Strong teamwork spirit in context of both: FP&A team and globally. Making sure that the needed processes, planning timelines and planning actions are aligned and agreed in between all the team members and the business;
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to handle wide range and different level of stakeholders, supporting them from financial side, yet being able to challenge when needed and follow up;
  • High focus on co-operation withing the FP&A team and throughout the business line at the same time being available to support in all areas and different assignments both the FP&A team and the business line;
  • Strong English language skills, professional in verbal and written.

Salary range for this position is from 3300 Eur to 4600 Eur Gross.
