In Service & Installation at NKT Denmark, we are supporting our customers with the service and repair of power cables, as well as renewable energy projects. The department is located at our site in Priorparken, Brøndby, and consists of a team of highly skilled jointers and a team of experienced back office colleagues. Together, the department delivers an extensive service to the market and needs an additional Sales manager to keep up with the opportunities the market provides.

Be responsible for the full sales cycle 
As a Sales manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, documentation and commercial handling of sales tenders and quotes. This means you will be in the front end towards our Danish market, i.e. implementing national sales programs by developing field sales plans and creating new leads for the Danish Service business. Together with our Senior Sales manager, your responsibility will be to engage in recurring customer dialogue as well as build up new ones, utilizing the full offer of NKT. Hence your ability to collaborate with other business units within NKT will be key for your results.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Timely planning and preparation of tenders and quotes in cooperation with client and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate all work in the scope of key tenders
  • Deliver the commercial part of the contract during the tender phase 
  • Ensure customer communication and participate in customer meetings 
  • Ensure project cost and invoice management in collaboration with our Finance and Operational colleagues
  • Conduct continuous improvement, design processes and develop efficiency measures 

Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude
We are looking for a performance-oriented Sales manager, preferably with experience within the energy sector, e.g. Distribution System Operators (DSO) and Transmission System Operators (TSO). Knowledge of tenders and common industry standards and regulations are valuable as well as some experience with project management and business cases. From this experience, you have obtained a structural but flexible mindset giving you the opportunity to influence stakeholders, both externally and internally in the organisation. You thrive and work efficiently on your own, but like to contribute with your positive mindset to the team as well.   

Furthermore, your CV will include:

  • B.Sc. in Business or Management or similar equivalent work experience
  • Relevant technical knowledge 
  • Experience with Business Development
  • IT skills, like Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM  
  • Fluent in Danish and English
