Engineer - Software Asset Management

As an overall goal of strenghtning the CIO office we are seeking for a person who would play a central role to assist the Chief Enterprise Architect in creating an overview and governing the software assets; and their lifecycle our Competence center in Chennai.

You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of our Enterprise Architecture Management tool -  LeanIX platform to support the organization's enterprise and management initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and implementing solutions within the LeanIX environment. In this position you will play a crucial role in optimizing the platform to enhance visibility, governance, and decision-making related to the organization's IT landscape.

The role is mainly about

  • Manage the software applications data in the EAM tool
  • Manage CI´s and CMDB in ITSM tools
  • Supporting Service Owners and System Engineers with expertise and hands on support.
  • Participate in IT Change Management – making sure that master data is update.
  • Creating and governing of IT Service Management components and Dashboards – ensuring that the IT community have latest intel on assets and configurations.
  • Enabler and creator of Business Intelligence solutions within Group IT Infrastructure. Facilitating that reports are available.

Your profile

  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree in I.T or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience in IT tool administration
  • Experience from Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
  • Proven experience in configuring and customizing the LeanIX or similar Enterprise Architecture Management platform.
  • Experience with integration technologies, APIs, and data connectors.
  • High communication and interpersonal skills.
  • LeanIX certification or relevant training is a plus.
  • Sound understanding of how to retrieve and make use of information from systems or databases. 

Technical skills

  • Enterprise Architecture Management configuration like LeanIX or similar
  • ITSM tools and CMDB configuration
  • BI and Analytics reports
  • Tools and license administration
  • Medium developer skills such as developing integrations using API

  • Positive, self-motivated personality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Will be required to work individually as well as a team and can support own and others’ workloads
  • Able to prioritize various tasks and work under tight deadlines
  • Will be required to work alone with little to no supervision
