NKT Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas is looking for a motivated, curious and goals oriented collegue to join our engaged and skilled Business Controlling team of 15+ professionals. Joining HQ in Kaunas with ~100 colleagues across all functions in house you will open yourself unlimited future career opportunities in corporate international finance.

What can you expect from the position?
You will be based in a modern open space office in Kaunas while working closely with colleagues groupwide. Your primary task will be to work according to Group standards and ensure business partnering towards support functions. This covers supporting the functions with financial analysis and providing insight to numbers, but also challenging both OPEX and CAPEX spend.This is certainly an environment in which you can put your experience to work and develop your skills. Job responsibilities:

  • Drive the forecast and budget process for the specific Global Functions, including data-gathering and analysis;
  • Monthly steering and follow-up of financials, such as ensuring correct accruals are made, prepayments treated correctly etc.;
  • Stakeholder management – maintain accurate and insightful financial reporting in timely manner to improve stakeholder awareness;
  • Be the first point of contact for finance teams and other stakeholders in terms of reporting and guidance
  • Identify opportunities and drive process improvement/standardization initiatives to achieve greater accuracy, financial control and quality;
  • Prepare and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures related documents (SOP);
  • Build and maintain close relationship with internal stakeholders – at all levels of the organization;
  • Pro-actively solve or escalate unforeseen issues and escalations;
  • Participate in meetings and present financials where deemed relevant;
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and reporting as per Group needs.

What do we expect from the candidate?

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar;
  • 3+ years in Finance, Controlling or FP&A; experience in industrial controlling is an advantage;
  • Experience with working independently, across an organization, driving processes and securing transparency;
  • Ability to work according to tight schedules when needed;
  • Ability to handle various groups of stakeholders and supporting their decision-making with clear insights, while also being able to challenge when needed;
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to discuss complex financial processes and figures in a concise and understandable manner;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools and MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular; knowledge of SAP and OneStream is an advantage;
  • Fluent written and spoken English;
  • Great analytical, problem-finding, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactive;
  • Strong team player;
  • Able to build and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues;

Salary range for this position is from 3300 Eur to 4200 Eur Gross.
