What can you expect from the position?

ITSM Developer will be responsible for development and maintenance of the ITSM platform for NKT Group. Your primary duties include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining features and modules for ServiceDesk Plus using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. You will secure that continuous improvement backlog initiatives are implemented according planned. Additionally, you maintain and operate ITSM platform according to business and support function requirements. This includes acting as “Go-To-Person” for ServiceDesk Plus developments. You also will be providing assistance in driving ITSM roadmap and business case processes selected IT Infrastructure Services.

You will be a part of an international team of colleagues placed in Kaunas (Lithuania), Karlskrona (Sweden) and Chennai (India). 

Your main tasks will be:
•    Owner and accountable for the quality of the ServiceDesk Plus workflows and processes and for maintaining and implementing changes to the environment.
•    At all-time follow good practice and implement according to Group IT procedures and policies.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance and to ensure that solutions fit for purpose.
•    Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ServiceDesk Plus cloud and advice on value add.
•    Design and implement activities and continuous improvement processes within scope of function.
•    Ensure daily operations of the platform.
•    Align with manager and stakeholders on requirements, priorities and opportunities.

What do we expect from the candidate:
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•    At least 3 years of experience in web application development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks and tools.
•    Experience with web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and database technologies.
•    Experience with IT service management, ITIL, or related domains and best practices.
•    Broad IT understanding of UX, integrations, workflow, software and automation.
•    Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools.
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Passion for learning new technologies and delivering customer satisfaction.
•    Self-driven and fact based strong communicator who can influence others.
•    Fluent English skills, both written and spoken (Danish, Swedish, German, Polish or Czech is considered an advantage but not required).

Salary range for this position is from 2800 Eur to 4200 Eur brutto.
