Transform industrial data into actionable insights

As a Data Scientist, you will work with cross-functional teams to analyse manufacturing data and develop solutions that improve operational performance. You will contribute to initiatives such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and process optimisation using AI and statistical techniques. This role involves collaboration across engineering, IT, and business teams to deliver practical outcomes from data.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Analyse large-scale manufacturing datasets to identify patterns and anomalies

• Build machine learning models for predictive maintenance and defect detection

• Develop solutions for process optimisation and demand forecasting

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven initiatives

• Communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

You are a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data to solve practical challenges. You communicate clearly and work effectively with different stakeholders. You approach tasks with curiosity and are motivated by continuous learning. You value teamwork and contribute positively to a collaborative environment while managing shifting priorities.

You also have:

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field

• Experience applying data science in manufacturing or industrial environments

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Fabric
