    We are looking for an experienced buyer to secure the availability of direct material with the aim to achieve a high service level toward production and desired stock turnover. You will participate and drive the phase-in and phase-out of direct materials from the supply chain.

    About the job

    The position is part of the NKT Alingsås Operations Accessories HV/EHV - Supply Chain.
    In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in modifying the NKT supplier base and  ensure that KPI targets are set, monitored and met.
    You will collaborate with operational procurement, category managers, quality managers, product engineering, R&D, production and customer service.

    Success criteria

    The person we are looking for has SAP skills to handle all aspect of responsibilities listed beneath. Understanding of the overall purchasing process and how it relates to our customers and our financial results. Self-drive and autonomy of working to achieve set targets. Work together with strategic procurement, engineering, production planning and customer service to ensure we uphold our delivery promise to our customer. Excellent communications skills to be able to communicate both internally and externally as well as various functions across the company and external partner.
                                                                                                                              
    Key responsibilities 

    •    Review and maintain proper MRP parameters in the system
    •    Place purchase orders
    •    Ensure timely order confirmations, goods receipts
    •    Ensure that received supplier invoices are correctly 3-way matched and approve these invoices
    •    Set up new planning parameters for new materials
    •    Ensure outturn samples (quality step to ensure that a supplier can deliver according to our drawings and other requirements) before a first PO is placed. 
    •    Support the organization with indirect materials.
    •    Monitor and expedite incoming materials when overdue

    The essential requirement of the job includes, but not limited to:

    •    University degree within engineering or equivalent
    •    SAP skills in purchasing needed. SAP skills in sales, production, warehousing are beneficial
    •    5 years within purchasing
    •    Ability to read drawings
    •    Swedish
    •    English
    •    German beneficial
