    NKT is looking for two Senior Treasurers to help build and maintain a best-in-class Group Treasury operation

Our Group Treasury team is key to enabling our growth agenda and right now we are recruiting two Senior Treasurers. Come join our team and you will have the opportunity to work with complex financial risks in an organization active in most treasury disciplines and you will also act as a valuable partner for NKT’s business lines.

    Group Treasury 
    Group Treasury is responsible for all activities related to funding and financial risks within NKT. The activities are characterized by significant and complex commodity and FX risks in connection with cable orders and a related large bank guarantee portfolio. The activities also include a wide span of other treasury products and disciplines such as RCF, hybrid bond issuance, mortgage loans, supply chain finance, factoring, and international cash management. Group Treasury works closely together with an international bank group and export credit agencies.
    The role and responsibilities

    As Senior Treasurer you will report to the Head of Group Treasury and be part of a treasury team consisting of 7-8 specialists. Your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Maintain and develop a best-in-class Group Treasury operation in close cooperation with the remaining team of treasury specialists.
    • Ensure sufficient credit, guarantee, and derivative facilities in line with business strategy and forecast. 
    • Negotiate terms and conditions for NKTs financial facilities and ensure compliance. 
    • Optimise working capital using relevant financial instruments.
    • Manage bank relationships and be part of the strategic decision-making process for Group Treasury from a global perspective.
    • Discuss bank guarantee requirements on specific cable orders with business lines and secure financial support from banks and export credit agencies. 
    • Be a valuable partner for business lines in understanding and hedging commodity and FX risks.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations across several jurisdictions. 
    • Prepare analysis, proposals, and management presentations. 
    • Demonstrate business acumen; understand market trends, issues, and impacts – and use your knowledge to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain a close relationship with all levels of the NKT organisation. 

    The preferred candidates have the following experience: 

    • 6-8 years’ experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, Treasury consultancy, or similar.
    • Hold a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
    • Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written (English is a prerequisite).
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets and present results in a similar format.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
