Connectors for a powerful presence
The bushings consist of a plug contact, so additional fastening methods are necessary.
The reference numbers refer to cables with solid extruded outer conductive layer and copper wire screen. For different cable types, we offer a wide variety of cable accessories. Cable connectors for bushings type C1/C2 and F C1 and C2 (a.k.a “630 A” or “1250 A”) have the same outer contour but a different copper insert for higher current. They have mechanically robust M16 threads and are mostly used to connect the cables with transformers or SF6 switchgear.
Our CB xx-630 and CB xx-1250 are used for both bushings. With the M16 thread and the large copper insert of the larger bushing type F, currents up to 2500 ampere are possible. For this bushing, our CB 42-2500 is being used. To install further cables, the coupling connector type CC is used. All CB and CC with the same thread can be combined. The same applies for the surge arrester type CSA.
Easy installation thanks to modular building block systems. CPI is a shielded inner cone cable plug made of silicone rubber. It is used to connect XLPE-insulated cables up to 52 kV switchgear and transformers with pre-installed device connectors and is available for these applications:
