Cables according to this standard are halogen free and flame retardant. In case of fire, only smoke free of corrosive gases and with low smoke density are emitted. Intended for permanent installation in- and outdoors, in ground and in pipes. Caution shall be taken into account if plowing.

The cable termination KSEV Size 5 is suitable for installation in the cable connection to metal-enclosed gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). The designed contour complies with IEC 62271-209 and CIGRE TB 784. IEC adapter to enlarge the total length to 757 mm for the replacement of oil filled terminations. Available with corona shield for transformer connections.

NOIKLX^® 90 Dca is a halogen-free installation cable, registered in the Building Materials Database and approved for use in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled buildings. It is a flexible cable designed for fixed installation where halogen-free materials are required. The cable is available in cross-sections from 1.5–240 mm² and is CPR-classified Dca-s2,d2,a2. The cable is suitable for installation in dry and wet rooms, outdoors in free air as well as directly in the ground. It can be embedded in walls and cast in concrete, though not in vibrated concrete, and the conductor insulation is not suitable for direct exposure to light. NOIKLX^® 90 Dca is supplied on cable rings (Qarry) from 50–100 m, in a practical box (Qable Box) or on a drum (Qaddy^®). These solutions ensure easy, safe and efficient handling and contribute to a better working environment. The cable is developed in accordance with applicable standards and is used daily by professional electricians and installers who demand high quality and reliability. It must be installed by an authorized electrician, and all relevant electrical installation regulations must always be observed.
