ASB insurance

 
We are proud to offer ‘the ASB insurance’ to all our permanent employees. The insurance covers medical costs up to “högkostnadsskyddet” as well as 50% of dental costs that are approved by Försäkringskassan. The cost of this insurance is SEK 131 (2023), which is deducted from  the monthly salary. The insurance also includes a compensation for glasses or lenses up to SEK 1,500 per year. Health contribution

 
NKT offers all employees, with an employment exceeding three months, a maximum of SEK 3,000 per year in health contribution to promote good health. You can use this by purchasing directly in the Benefits portal or by registering an expense.
When purchasing an activity, NKT covers 75% of the cost and you as an employee covers 25%.  

Group insurance

 
NKT offers group insurance through Mercer which gives you access to good basic cover at different stages of life. Group insurance affords you the opportunity to choose cover to provide you and your family with financial security in the event of an accident, sickness or death.

Parental leave compensation

 
You are covered by collective agreed parental insurance, which can provide supplementary payments. How much we cover depends of how long you have been employed and which collective agreement you belong to.

Reduction in working hours

 
For each completed week of work, time is transferred to a time bank and it is a minimum of 82 minutes/full working week. The time that the employee holds in the time bank can be appropriated as paid leave, cash payment or pension premium. 
 

Pension

 
As an employee at NKT in Sweden, you have the state pension and in addition you earn collectively agreed pension;
  • If you are employed as a white collar you are covered by the occupational pension ITP. You can read more about the ITP at www.collectum.se
  • If you are employed as a blue collar you are covered by the SAF-LO collective pension. You can read more about Avtalspension SAF-LO at www.fora.se
