Our Chennai office is our dynamic Global Competence Centre headquarters, supporting high-voltage cable projects across international markets. It hosts a wide range of specialised roles, including Engineering & Design, Tendering, Project Planning, Compliance, and Document Control. The team collaborates closely with colleagues worldwide to deliver technical excellence and operational efficiency. With a strong focus on renewable energy and offshore wind, the Chennai office plays a key role in NKT’s ambition to contribute to India’s energy transition.

Our Mumbai office is an expansion of our Global Competence Centre and a key centre of excellence. It hosts our Installation team, alongside a wide range of specialised competencies, including: Engineering & Design, Tendering, Data Mapping, and Software Development for the high-voltage Solutions business line. The Mumbai office also supports select IT roles, contributing to our digital innovation and operational efficiency.

NKT has been a trusted partner in power transmission and distribution across India and South Asia for over a decade. To strengthen our regional footprint, we established NKT South Asia Private Limited in 2019, headquartered in Gurugram, National Capital Region. This strategic location enables us to deliver advanced and reliable cable accessories for medium-voltage (MV), high-voltage (HV), and extra-high voltage (EHV) projects. Our Gurugram operations include a fully equipped local office, a customer experience centre, and a dedicated kitting and warehouse facility.

We are happy to continue growing our presence in India by expanding our talent base and strengthening the contribution from the team across the value chain for key projects and tenders. By building competencies and presence in the region, NKT has the potential to become a key supplier of power cable solutions in India.
