Create and optimize cable designs for global impact

As a Cable Design Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of business, technology, and production. You’ll collaborate with Technical Sales Engineering, Production, and Quality to create the data foundation for cable manufacturing. Your work will include preparing production documentation, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting the development of new cable solutions that reduce environmental impact.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Optimize cable designs for performance and sustainability
• Limit the environmental footprint of our products and processes
• Assist in developing innovative cable solutions
• Support offers and tenders with technical expertise
• Initiate and follow up on cable testing procedures

You’ll be part of a cross-site R&D team and report to the Recruiting Manager. The position is located in Asnæs, Denmark, with occasional travel expected.

Innovative and collaborative engineer with a global mindset

You are a proactive and curious individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy solving practical problems and have a structured, detail-oriented approach to your work. Your strong communication skills help you connect with colleagues across different locations, and your innovative mindset drives you to explore new solutions.

You also have:

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with cable design or development
• General IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Fluent English communication skills
• Experience in project management or development roles
• Knowledge of CYMCAP, Cableizer, or similar software

You will join our site in Asnæs in the most exciting times! We are expanding the production to double the output.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of exciting developments in R&D and cable production. In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple departments including R&D, production, process engineering and quality to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Due to the implementation and industrialization of the new production capacity, you will be able to follow the initial setup from the beginning to go-live production and delivering to customers. Focus will be on cable design for the new lines.
