As a Senior SAP Consultant for PP and QM, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production planning, quality management, and manufacturing processes across a European industrial leader. Optimize PP and QM performance across global operations

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP PP and QM solutions across a multi-plant, multi-geography manufacturing landscape. You will ensure accurate demand planning, smooth production scheduling, robust quality processes, and data reliability to support operational excellence. You will also guide junior consultants and provide continuity in solution design, testing, and process improvements.

Your responsibility will be to:
•    Analyze and translate production planning and quality requirements into SAP PP/QM solutions.
•    Configure and optimize PP and QM submodules including BOMs, Routings, Production Orders, Inspection Plans, and Quality Notifications.
•    Manage process improvements covering forecasting, MRP, scheduling, capacity planning, and quality workflows.
•    Manage master data governance and integration with MM, FI, SD and other SAP modules.
•    Coordinate testing, documentation, defect resolution, and user training activities.

You will collaborate closely with global teams and may travel internationally for knowledge-transfer and alignment with European stakeholders. The position is based in Chennai (G3C).

You also have:
 • 8+ years of SAP PP experience and 2+ years of SAP QM configuration and support.
 • Solid background across PP modules including Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, BOMs, Routings, and Capacity Planning.
 • Extensive experience with QM processes including Inspection Lots, Notifications, Sampling and Defects Management.
 • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-plant, make-to-order/make-to-stock/ETO manufacturing environments.
 Exposure to S/4HANA PP/QM enhancements or APS/forecasting tools.
