As Senior SAP Consultant – SD, you will design, configure, and optimize Sales Distribution to deliver order‑to‑cash across multi‑location operations. Design, optimize and support SAP SD processes
You will translate complex sales and distribution requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions that improve order accuracy, delivery performance, and billing quality. Working across business and IT, you will ensure robust configuration, reliable integrations, and fit‑for‑purpose documentation and training. Your work will streamline order‑to‑cash while supporting global standards, governance, and continuous improvement.
Your responsibility will be to:
• Configure core SD: Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Shipping, Returns, Customer Master, Pricing, Discounts
• Optimize order‑to‑cash: sales area setup, output, shipping notifications, invoicing, billing plans, corrections.
• Manage master data: credit limits, payment terms, addresses; ensure compliance and data quality.
• Troubleshoot issues: order blocks, delivery errors, pricing variances, billing postings; drive root‑cause fixes.
• Coordinate testing, documentation, training, and change management across global stakeholders.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – IT within Group IT’s SAP Digital Core; based at G3C Chennai, with international travel for trainings and knowledge transfer.

You bring an analytical approach to solving complex order‑to‑cash challenges and keep the big picture in view. You value transparency, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing, and you enjoy guiding others while delivering reliable, high‑quality outcomes that improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
You also have:
• 8+ years of SAP SD experience, with exposure to S/4HANA.
• Deep SD IMG configuration for organizational data, sales documents, and master data prerequisites.
• Advanced pricing and discount configuration (V/08, VK11, VK12), including rebates and complex logic.
• Deep understanding of order/document/item types and schedule line categories for complex scenarios.
• Integration experience with MM and FI, plus IDoc/EDI connectivity for seamless order flow.
• Exposure to IS‑Mill functionality or S/4HANA SD migration/enhancements.
