As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Accounts Payable processes, contributing to period end activities, and helping us advance the green transition through reliable financial operations. Support smooth financial processes in a global environment


In this role, you will be part of an experienced Accounts Payable team and handle a variety of accounting tasks, supporting both daily operations and monthly reporting cycles. You will be responsible for processing incoming invoices, handling outgoing payments, preparing audit related materials, and ensuring internal controls are followed. Your work will directly contribute to accurate reporting and streamlined processes in NKT’s global finance structure.


Your responsibility will be to:

  • Process and book incoming invoices, handle outgoing payments, and support period close activities.
  • Manage inquiries, deliver reports to internal customers, partners, and authorities.
  • Prepare data for auditors and support audit activities.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in accounting processes.
  • Perform verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.

Your attention to detail and methodical approach help you deliver accurate results, while your curiosity allows you to improve processes and contribute ideas. You work well within a team, communicate clearly, and feel comfortable in an international environment where priorities can shift.You also have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, AP or AR functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Good understanding of internal controls and risk management.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Salary range for this position is from 2200 Eur to 2350 Eur Gross.
