Enable seamless global order‑to‑cash excellence

In this role, you will support, configure, and optimize SAP SD processes that ensure efficient sales order management, delivery operations, billing execution, and revenue recognition across NKT’s global business landscape. You will work closely with both technical teams and business partners to translate requirements into robust SAP solutions that uphold global standards, enhance customer satisfaction, and support continuous process improvement. You will play a key part in NKT’s ongoing S/4HANA transformation and help create an integrated, automated sales and distribution environment.

Your responsibility will be to:
 • Analyze and translate sales and distribution requirements into SAP SD configurations.
 • Configure core SD components including sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, and customer master data.
 • Optimize sales processes including output controls, invoice generation, and shipping notifications.
 • Resolve complex order‑to‑cash issues to ensure smooth operational flows.
 • Prepare documentation, support testing, and conduct user training across functions.

You will be part of the Group IT team, reporting to the Senior Manager – IT. The position is based in Chennai, with occasional international travel for knowledge transfer and collaboration.

You also have:
•    Minimum 6+ years of SAP SD implementation and support experience.
•    Extensive experience in SD configuration includes sales order management, billing, shipping, and customer master data.
•    Demonstrated ability to resolve complex order‑to‑cash issues and manage SAP integration touchpoints.
•    Experience working with global, cross‑functional teams and multi‑geographic SAP landscapes.
•    Exposure to S/4HANA SD enhancements or IS‑Mill functionality.
