
Design and deliver cable system engineering solutions
Join NKT in Cologne as an Junior Engineer working on AC onshore, offshore and HVDC cable systems. In this role, you support technical design, project execution and customer enquiries in a global energy environment. You contribute to the development of efficient cable systems that support the green transition. Do you want to work on technical solutions that connect energy across regions?
Develop technical solutions for cable system projects
You work across engineering activities related to cable systems, from design and calculations to documentation and project support. You collaborate with colleagues in development, production and project teams, and support customer discussions and tender activities. The role includes both technical detail work and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will be to:
You will be part of the Engineering team in Cologne, reporting to the Head of AC Onshore / AC Offshore / HVDC. Collaboration across functions is part of daily work. Occasional travel may be required.
Collaborative and structured engineer with communication skills
You approach tasks in a structured and consistent way and are comfortable working in a self-directed way while staying aligned with your team. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are open to exchanging knowledge. You show curiosity for improving methods and processes and contribute to a supportive team environment.
