Insurance support across corporate lines, onshore & offshore project activities

Join NKT in Copenhagen as an Associate Insurance Specialist within the insurance team of the Group Treasury & Risk Management function. In this role, you will support insurance activities related to service, repair, and project work across the business line Grid Solutions and Group Procurement. You will join a global company contributing to energy infrastructure and the green transition, while gaining experience in construction and project insurance within a collaborative team. Support insurance activities across projects and services
As Associate Insurance Specialist, you will provide consistent and reliable insurance support to service, repair, and project activities, with a clear focus on learning and gradual expansion of responsibility. You will work closely with experienced insurance specialists and the Head of Group Insurance, supporting contractual insurance topics, risk assessments, and preparation of insurance material for projects, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and governance.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Provide day-to-day insurance support for service, repair, and project activities, including urgent and unplanned requests
• Support insurance-related contractual work, risk assessments, and documentation for repair projects and smaller construction activities
• Assist in preparing insurance documentation, data collection, and market material for projects and annual policies
• Maintain and develop insurance-related administrative platforms, templates, SOPs, and reporting
• Contribute to standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement of insurance processes

The role is based in Copenhagen and reports to the Head of Group Insurance. You will interact with stakeholders across projects, legal, procurement, and external partners. Travel is expected up to 5-10 times per year..

You also have:

• Relevant higher education within insurance, law, finance, risk management, business administration, or similar
• Early career experience within insurance, risk management, legal, construction, or project support
• Basic understanding of insurance principles, contracts, and risk allocation
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and structured document management
• Professional working proficiency in English
