Full-stack development for AI-enabled business applications

As NKT continues its growth journey, more tenders and projects will run in parallel creating a clear need for scalable IT solutions across the organisation. In this role, you will build and maintain end-to-end applications within AI   Digitalization, working with modern frontend (Vue, React) and backend services (Python) to support data, AI, APIs, and system integrations. Build scalable applications across frontend, backend, and data

You will develop, deploy, and maintain system applications that support AI   Digitalization needs in a global environment. The work spans the full stack—from database and data pipelines to APIs, services, and user interfaces—so you can turn requirements into efficient system solutions while applying secure and maintainable engineering practices.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Analyse business requirements and define feasible end-to-end solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Vue and React
• Build backend services and APIs primarily in Python, with flexibility for .NET
• Work across database, data pipelines, APIs, services, and UI components
• Deploy and maintain applications, supporting integrations and containerisation

You will report to the Head of AI   Digitalization and collaborate with data scientists and engineers, Global IT, and Business Lines. Location: G3C Chennai. International travel may occur for training.

You tend to work in a structured way, communicating clearly with different stakeholders and keeping focus on quality and delivery. You take responsibility for your own work, contribute well in a team setting, and maintain composure when priorities change. You are comfortable collaborating across geographies and functions, and you value inclusive ways of working where different perspectives are welcomed.

You also have:

• 10–15 years of relevant software development experience
• Frontend development experience with Vue and/or React
• Backend development experience with Python (primary) and API development
• Experience with Docker / containerisation and application deployment
