NKT is part of the green transition, delivering power cable solutions that support a sustainable energy system. We are now looking for a Senior Director People & Culture to join our operations in Karlskrona. In this role, you will work closely with the business and the global People & Culture organization to translate strategic priorities into local impact during a period of growth and change. Strategic People & Culture partner in a growing business
As Senior Director People & Culture, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Transmission business line and be a member of the site leadership team. The role focuses on developing a modern People & Culture setup that supports organizational development, change initiatives, and high-quality employee and manager experiences, while ensuring alignment with global frameworks and priorities. You will proactively identify opportunities to modernize and continuously improve the People & Culture operating model, processes, and ways of working.

Besides the above your responsibility will be to:

  • Design and execute the local and business line agenda in alignment with the overall NKT strategy
  • Support senior managers in organizational development, workforce planning, and change initiatives
  • Ensure effective People & Culture operations, HR processes, payroll, employee relations, and global mobility
  • Develop People & Culture ways of working through data, KPIs, and employee feedback
  • Contribute to global People & Culture initiatives and projects from a local perspective

The role is based in Karlskrona, Sweden. You will report to the VP People & Culture Transmission and work closely with local leadership, global People & Culture colleagues, unions, and external partners. Some travel may be required.

Collaborative and trusted People & Culture professional
You are comfortable working in complex environments with multiple international stakeholders and enjoy partnering closely with managers and teams. You are a strategic, forward-thinking leader with a strong transformation mindset, highly collaborative and relationship-driven. 
You approach change with structure and pragmatism, communicate clearly, and build trust through consistency and integrity. You value inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning, and you are motivated by contributing to a workplace where people can develop and perform over time. To thrive in this role you are resilient and comfortable operating in a high-profile, fast-paced international environment.

You also have:

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience from senior People & Culture roles
  • Proven experience working in international and matrix organizations
  • Background in HR business partnering, organizational development, and change management
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
