Join NKT as a Senior Controlling Manager supporting Technology and R&D, where you will partner with technical teams to ensure transparent financial governance, clear business cases, and value from investments in a company contributing to the green transition. This role connects finance with innovation and asset management across an international organisation. Support financial planning, analysis and R&D investments

In this position, you act as a finance partner to the Technology and R&D organisation, ensuring proper governance of costs and assets while enabling well-informed decisions. You work with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business cases, translating complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Develop financial insights and partner with Technology and R&D stakeholders.
  • Manage R&D controlling, including project tracking, budgeting, and asset governance.
  • Prepare and validate business cases for technology and investment projects.
  • Oversee financial planning, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Enhance transparency through dashboards and performance monitoring.

You will report to the SVP Corporate Finance and Distribution and collaborate across an international setup. The role is based in Kaunas.

Structured communicator with collaborative mindset in finance

You are detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. You communicate clearly, handle your responsibilities, and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset. You are curious about processes and aim to improve how financial insights support decisions.

You also have:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
  • 5–10 years of experience in business controlling, within R&D or technology environments.
  • Experience with investment analysis, business case preparation, and FP&A.
  • Knowledge of asset accounting, including intangible and tangible assets.
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP), advanced Excel, and tools like Power BI.
  • Experience from international or matrix organizations.

Salary range for this position is from 5300 Eur to 6500 Eur Gross
