Optimise production processes and industrialise new products
Are you interested in turning new product concepts into efficient, high-quality production processes? As Process Engineer in Asnæs, you will work with industrialisation, process optimisation and investment projects that support NKT’s contribution to the green transition. You will collaborate across production, quality, product development and HSE to ensure safe and effective manufacturing. Improve production performance through process optimisation
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and improving production processes, supporting new product introductions, and identifying opportunities to reduce scrap and overconsumption. Using data, analysis and a structured approach, you will contribute to decision-making related to safety, quality, cost and productivity. You will work closely with production teams, technicians and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.


Your responsibility will be to:

  • Implement safe and efficient production processes for new and existing products
  • Coordinate process and product optimisation activities in production
  • Manage selected investment and pre-study projects
  • Analyse root causes and implement improvements to enhance product quality
  • Develop and maintain production formulas and models for speed and set-up times


The position is based in Asnæs, Denmark, and reports to the Process Engineering Manager. The role includes a few international travel days per year and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You enjoy working with others and approach challenges methodically and systematically. You are a good listener who values collaboration and shared outcomes. With a practical mindset and curiosity about manufacturing processes, you take initiative and help move improvements from idea to implementation. You are comfortable balancing several tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.


You also have:

  • Technical education or similar relevant experience
  • Experience with production processes or production flows
  • Project management experience
  • English language skills
  • Danish language skills
  • Experience with SAP
