Warehouse & Shipping Manager | Team Leadership & International Logistics

Join our production site at NKT as a Warehouse and Shipping Manager – a key position combining leadership, logistics expertise, and strategic transportation planning. In this role, you will lead a team of 16 colleagues, coordinate the flow of materials and products, and actively contribute to the improvement of logistics processes within NKT.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading, developing, and motivating the warehouse and shipping team

• Organizing and securing transportation, especially of high-voltage cable drums, in cooperation with carriers

• Monitoring the efficient flow of materials and products within the plant and through external transport

• Optimizing warehousing and shipping processes with focus on quality, cost, and safety

• Collaborating with production, quality, customer service, and other plants

• Ensuring compliance with internal standards and safety (HSE) and 5S principles

• Working in the SAP system

• Participating in logistics improvement projects and reporting results

What knowledge and skills we expect:

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a dynamic operation

• Active knowledge of English, both spoken and written (communication with customers and carriers); German is an advantage

• Strong organizational skills, systematic approach, and focus on quality

• SAP knowledge is an advantage

• Responsibility, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
