Senior Manager, Tactical & Operational Procurement

NKT is on a growth journey, and we are currently looking for a successor to our Tactical and Operational Procurement manager. 

At NKT HV Cables in Karlskrona, we contribute to the global transition towards renewable energy by providing advanced high-voltage cable systems. To ensure our factory runs smoothly 24/7, we are now looking for a Senior Manager, Tactical Procurement Operations — a key leader who will secure reliable material supply, develop our local procurement team, and ensure operational excellence.

Manage operational buying and ensure continuous improvement
In this role, you will lead a team of 11 Operational Buyers and manage daily procurement activities to keep production running smoothly. You will collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure timely material availability while ensuring process improvements and compliance.

Your responsibilities include coaching and developing your team, optimizing buying practices and implementing new tools and ways of working. Acting as the local escalation point for operational challenges, you will support audits and provide key data to stakeholders such as Treasury. You will also contribute to global category strategies and ensure effective implementation on site.

This position is based in Karlskrona and reports to the Director Supply Chain Management.

Additional, your CV include:
•    University degree in engineering or business
•    5–8 years of procurement experience, including 2–3 years in leadership
•    Experience with e-sourcing and procurement automation
•    Experience from manufacturing in a 24/7 production environment
 
Experience with SAP S4/HANA and Ariba is a plus.
