As a Project Manager for Manufacturing Excellence Programs, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, tracking, and steering initiatives that enhance operational performance. Manage manufacturing excellence initiatives

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Create and manage program plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery with maximum outcomes
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice programs, policies, and processes to improve operational performance
  • Support the creation of project identification and planning documentation for various workstreams
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and follow up on various workstreams within the manufacturing excellence program
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions.
  • Track progress and generate reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Lead internal documentation of the projects

You will collaborate with various functions and stakeholders at NKT manufacturing sites and key members of the COO function. This position can be based at any of our European sites, with flexibility to travel as required by the business.


Experienced project manager with a structured approach

We are looking for a person who is a strong, clear, and structured communicator and organizer across all levels of seniority. You are determined by results and have a "gets the job done" attitude. You thrive in an agile and flexible environment and have a structured approach to problem-solving. You are sociable and open to new experiences and cultures, and you value feedback.

You also have:

  • An academic background in Technical or Sciences
  • Min. 5 years of project management experience in business projects (e.g., business development, strategy) in industry, consulting, or start-up)
  • Relevant experience from the manufacturing/engineering industry 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint (Slidewriting and Storylining) and Excel (Analysis and Business Case calculation)
  • Fluency in English
