Lead product quality excellence and operational performance

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving product quality excellence and strengthening operational performance within a dynamic manufacturing environment. As Product Quality Control Manager, you will lead a team of more than 30 professionals, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Lead and develop robust quality control processes

You will oversee the daily execution of quality operations, guarantee the effectiveness of product quality processes, and ensure alignment with internal standards and industry regulations. Working closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, you will integrate quality requirements into workflows and maintain audit readiness. Through strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration, you will elevate quality awareness and support strategic decision-making.

Your responsibility will be to:
• Lead and manage a team of 30+ quality professionals
• Ensure consistent execution of quality control processes and compliance with product standards
• Monitor and analyze key product quality KPIs, driving corrective actions
• Support internal and external audits and FAT
• Participate in RCA processes for non-conforming products

You will report to the Director of Engineering, Design and Quality Control. This position is based on site in Esposende and includes travel expectations.

You also have:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering (or a related field), including knowledge of Systems Engineering and Product Industrialization
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or quality control
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders
• Expertise in quality control processes, compliance standards, and timely decision-making
• Strong knowledge of audit/FAT processes and RCA methodologies
• Preferred: Fluency in French
