Legal advisory across tendering and project execution

You will support NKT’s Transmission business by providing legal guidance throughout the tendering phase and project execution lifecycle. This includes contract drafting, negotiations, risk evaluations, and contributing to compliant and profitable project delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment where legal, commercial and technical perspectives come together in the green energy transition. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Project Management, Procurement and Corporate Affairs, contributing to a professional and transparent legal framework. Provide legal guidance across tenders and projects

In this role, you will support tender reviews, negotiations and internal approvals, ensuring consistency with NKT processes. You will collaborate with project teams to help secure compliant execution, assess contractual risks and address day‑to‑day legal questions. You will also take part in monthly project reviews and align closely with colleagues in the Transmission legal team to share knowledge and ensure coherent advisory practices.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Support tender drafting, negotiation and internal approval processes
• Provide legal input to project execution, including contract interpretation and risk considerations
• Offer guidance on procurement matters, NDAs, integrity topics and Code of Conduct requirements
• Contribute to legal risk management and identify opportunities for improvement
• Engage with external lawyers, customers and subcontractors when relevant

You will work with teams across Europe. The position can be based in Copenhagen or Malmo, with the possibility of home‑office. Travel of up to approximately 20% may occur, depending on tender and project activities.

Legal professional with collaborative and pragmatic approach

You approach complex matters with clarity and maintain a balanced perspective when working with diverse stakeholders. You are comfortable navigating parallel tasks, adjusting to project needs and building positive working relationships. You value transparency, take responsibility for your assessments and contribute to a supportive team environment. You appreciate a mix of self-directed work and joint problem-solving, and you bring a pragmatic mindset to both legal and commercial questions.

You also have:

• A Master of Law from Sweden, Denmark or Norway
• At least 3 years of experience as an in‑house lawyer within EPCI business
• A total of 5–8 years of legal experience, including work at a law firm or in a similar function
• Experience with FIDIC and Nordic contract forms; NSC 05
• Professional proficiency in English and fluent proficiency in a Scandinavian language
