The NKT Graduate Programme begins in September 2026 and runs for 18 months. You will be offered a permanent contract from day one. Upon successful completion of the programme, your future department will be shaped by both business needs and your ambitions.
The programme includes job-rotation blocks, including one international rotation. The objective of the rotations is to give you a solid end-to-end understanding of NKT, our culture, and to help you build a broad network across the organisation. During the rotations, you will take on responsibility for well-defined tasks and solve challenges that are relevant to NKT’s business.
The international rotation will accelerate your personal growth in a global environment. Together with your manager, you will decide which rotation best supports your development and future career at NKT.
You will also:
- Take part in a high-profile project together with other graduates, sponsored by a senior business leader
- Participate in four joint training modules with the graduate community
- Gain both practical and theoretical insights into the industry
The programme offers a unique opportunity to get to know NKT from the ground up, work across functions, and build a strong internal network.

You have a strong technical interest and a clear eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills. Our teams are built on collaboration and a strong team spirit, so a key success factor is your ability to work as part of a team and your openness to share ideas, solutions and experiences.

- A strong communicator
You also bring:
- Excellent verbal and written English, and Portuguese skills
- The legal right to work in Portugal
