Dating back to the start of cable production in 1883 by Liljeholmens Fuse factory, our manufacturing facility in Karlskrona has an extensive experience in high voltage cables. It is a center of excellence for production, installation and service of high voltage cables in both AC and DC for submarine and underground applications.

Through the years, we have successfully delivered and installed several world-record cables and we are committed to a constant focus on research and development to deliver innovative and responsible products and solutions.

In 1992 the unit moved to Karlskrona in the southern part of Sweden and was acquired by NKT in 2017.

Velke Meziříčí produces high-voltage power cables up to 220kV. 

Our production plant in Asnaes focuses on production of 1 kV and medium voltage cables up to 72 kV. In 2002 NKT won the EU Environmental Prize for being the first cable producer to introduce halogen-free cables on the Danish market.

The Asnaes location also features an assembly and repair plant for wooden drums.

Our production plant in Falun focuses on production of building wires, 1 kV cables, medium and high voltage cables up to 170 kV with accessories. We also manufacture cables for the telecommunications industry.

The company was founded in 1888 as Sieverts Kabelverk, later a part of Ericsson AB and since 2013 a part of the NKT group. In 1971 the power cable production was moved from Stockholm to Falun where we now design and manufacture building wires, 1 kV cables, medium and high voltage cables up to 170 kV and cables for the telecommunication industry. Founded in 1865, this is one of the oldest cable production plants in Europe. Today, however, it boasts state-of-the-art equipment and an optimised product flow, making it one of the most high-tech plants in the industry. Product range: Low voltage cables up to 1 kV, Low fire-hazard cables.

Our production plant in Velke Mezirici is specialised in manufacturing medium voltage cables up to 50 kV to the highest industry standards.

Founded in 1928 in Czechowice-Dziedzice, in 1993 NKT A/S and IO bought shares of Sląska Fabryka Kabli S.A. In 1999 the new production plant and logistic center was opened in Warszowice. After 7 years in 2009 the new plant building in Warszowice was completed.

Currently the newest production plant in Poland is equipped with the modern world class machinery like Niehoff and Rosendahl and implemented Lean optimization and very high efficiency of production.

The production range covers production of installation and low-voltage cables. NKT in Poland also has its own PVC compounds production facility located in Knurów.

Our production plant in Alingsås manufacture AC cable accessories from 1 kV up to 420 kV and accessories for extruded HVDC cables.

Founded in 1888 as Sieverts Kabelverk, later on part of L. M. Ericsson and ABB, and now since 2017 a part of NKT.

In 1956 the manufacturing was moved to Alingsås and has since served as a dedicated plant for cable accessories suitable for safe and easy connection of distribution and transmission applications.

Here in Nordenham, we concentrate our medium voltage accessories competence. At the site, we develop and produce all our premium MV power cable accessories. Thus, for NKT, Nordenham is a hub to continue our pioneering work in the field of silicone rubber.
