We are a global supplier
NKT develops, manufactures and markets high quality power cables, accessories and solutions for the electrical infrastructure, the construction field and in the railway industries. We have manufacturing facilities in Europe and sales offices all over the world.
History
More than 126 years of experience
Starting in 1891 NKT has more than 126 years of experience in business development with highly innovative products.
Over the years the company grew into one of Denmark’s foremost industrial enterprises, with focus on cable production. In 1999 NKT acquires Felten & Guillaume Kabelwerke GmbH in Cologne, Germany, and this acquisition marked the start of our transformation from a Danish to a global company.

We have a high demand for various raw materials, including significant amounts of non-ferrous metals, plastic materials, specific materials for the cable industry, technical components and testing and installation services. With a spend volume of significantly more than a billion Euros per year, we provide attractive opportunities for potential partners.

With manufacturing facilities in Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden and Norway and sales offices all over the word, we are a global supplier. We continuously invest heavily in new and improved manufacturing facilities, the most recent of these is our plant in Cologne which focuses mainly on high voltage cable solutions, including submarine cables.
